The underworld is not the end but rather a new beginning. The ancient Egyptians revered and depicted the underworld in elaborate artwork on tombs and statues for thousands of years. A place that awaited commoners and pharaohs alike. Funerary rites were elaborate affairs including mummification, spell casting, offerings to the gods, as well as grave goods that a person would require for their journey into the afterlife.
Sandalwood: Inspired by the Egyptian underworld, this fragrance begins with a base of sandalwood with its soft, woody, and slightly musky aroma. This most luxurious botanical ingredient is widely used in perfumery, incense, and ritual anointing oils.
Jasmine: Building on the base of sandalwood is a sweet floral layer of stress-reducing jasmine which represents the important role that flowers play in offerings made to the gods.
Orange: No rite of passage would be complete without nourishment for the journey. A hint of juicy orange citrus tops off this aromatic journey to the underworld.
Infused with natural essential oils, this fragrance is fit for a pharaoh.

Louisiana Voodoo was born of a fusion of West African and Haitian influences that blended with 18th century French culture in Louisiana. It incorporates the worship of ancestors and spirits called loas who can grant favors and good fortune and also act as intermediaries with Bondye, the creator.
This fragrance is dedicated to the colorful and diverse set of beliefs that is found in Voodoo worship and also to one of the most adored priestesses of all time, the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans herself, Marie Laveau. Devotees of Laveau visit her grave and leave tokens in exchange for small requests.
Offerings are common in Voodoo practice, especially when calling upon favors from loa spirits. Known as the loa of the dead and in charge of leading souls to the underworld, Baron Samedi is perhaps the most famous and recognizable of loas for his widespread representation in art as a man dressed in a top hat, black tailcoat, and white skull face paint that stands out in stark contrast to his dark skin.
Black coffee: This fragrance has an invigorating base of freshly brewed black coffee, which is one of the offerings commonly given to Baron Samedi when asking for healing, as this loa is also a giver of life.
Sugar Cane: It is blended with the aroma of fresh sugar cane which will sweeten the offering and improve the chances of your request being granted.
Add a little creole magic to your life with this coffee infused fragrance that will leave you swaying to the seductive rhythm a Voodoo ritual drum.

On March 28, 2023 the Wolf Conservation Center partnered with the generous Montelobos Mezcal to raise awareness and money for protection of Mexican gray wolves. Montelobos Mezcal offered to double donations up made to the WCC. I jumped on this right away!
For every website order I donate $1 towards wolf conservation. Every order makes a difference! As of 3/27/23 there were 185 website orders so far this year. I just donated $185 which will be doubled today by this generous donor.
It adds up. Today's donation will double from $185 to $370.
To date, we have raised over $8600 for wolves!

To hear the siren’s enchanting voice is to fall into an entranced state where nothing else matters except an irresistible yearning to find the source of the beautiful singing. Succumbing to the sirens call is to become their prey.
Pop culture frequently portrays the siren as a water creature similar to a mermaid. It may surprise many that the sirens of Greek mythology were actually bird women. Ancient Greek artwork depicts them as either birds with the heads of women or as women with wings. Regardless of the differences in depiction, sirens have a seductive singing voice that leads those unfortunate to hear it to their deaths.
Deep Sea Botanicals: This is a complex fragrance reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. It evokes the sensual perfume of deep sea botanicals, rocky cliffs, and the warm sandy breeze of an enchanted and treacherous island.
Labdanum: Often referred to as rockrose, cistus ladanifer is a native Mediterranean shrub that blooms beautiful flowers in shades of pink and white. Its resin, labdanum, has a heady and deep aroma perceived in notes of rich leather and amber layered with honey-like sweetness and hints of plum.
Siren is a wild and daring fragrance. Its invigorating aroma may strengthen your resistance to a siren’s enthrallment. Then again, it probably won’t. No one escapes the lethal song of the siren.
