Wolf Donation Update September 2026
This week I donated $450 to the Wolf Conservation Center in S. Salem, NY towards their Red Wolf Week campaign. They had a generous donor who was matching donations, which doubled my contribution to $900.

With your support, we are one step closer to purchasing 25 new GPS radio collars that will give our researchers the data they need to track Red Wolves, understand how they move and behave, and make more informed decisions about how to protect them. They will also help us study coyotes, giving us a clearer picture of the ecosystem Red Wolves depend on.
Red Wolves were once declared extinct in the wild. Today, thanks to decades of conservation work and the people who make that work possible, we have made significant strides towards their recovery, but challenges still remain. With just 21 Red Wolves confirmed to live in the wild, your support is essential.
